Privacy Policy
Last updated August 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ParcelDataSource (“we,” “us”) handles information in connection with our websites, property-data reports, ordering platform, and API (together, the “Services”). We provide property data and disclosure reports to real-estate, lending, and disclosure businesses; most of what we process is business and property information rather than consumer personal data.
Information we collect
- Account information — name, email address, company, and the credentials used to sign in to the platform.
- Order information — the property addresses, parcel numbers (APNs), and counties you submit to generate a report, and the recipients you choose to send a report to.
- Payment information — processed by our payment providers. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
- Usage and technical data — log data, device and browser information, and API request metadata used to operate, secure, and improve the Services.
How we use information
- To provide, deliver, and support the reports and data you order.
- To process payments and, where applicable, invoice partners.
- To operate, secure, monitor, and improve the Services.
- To communicate about your account, orders, and support requests.
- To meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use the property addresses you submit for advertising.
Service providers
We share information only with vendors that help us run the Services, under agreements that limit their use of it. These include payment processing (Stripe), platform hosting and databases (Vercel, Supabase, Fly.io), transactional email (Postmark), accounting (Intuit QuickBooks), and property-data sources used to build reports (including ATTOM Data Solutions and public county records). We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the Services.
Data retention
We keep account and order records for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, resolve disputes, and meet legal and tax obligations, after which we delete or de-identify it.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to opt out of certain processing. California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to know, delete, and correct, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. To make a request, contact us at info@parceldatasource.com.
Children
The Services are for business use and are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above and, where appropriate, by additional notice.
